HARRY TUTORIAL

Meet Harry,s Mate

Hi Everyone. Hope you are all keeping well and making the most of the lovely weather. ( Appart from that massive deluge of rain we had the other day that is.) Anyway I did say that if requested I would post a brief tutorial of how to make Harry and so I shall as he proved to be extremely popular. Now why wouldnt he be. I have taken a series of photos step by step as I made it and I hope you can follow this. if not let me know and I will help. Well here goes.

This is how Harry started out. Any small paper backed book will do. About the size of a Mills and Boon

You open your book and fold the first page in half.

You then fold the page from the right over to the crease. A bit like making a paper aeroplane.

You then repeat this until you have folded every page in the book.

This is how it looks when you are part way through.

This is how it looks when all pages are folded. Can you see Harry coming to life?

And here he is. To complete you cut off the excess of the base. I then stuck it onto a piece of brown card and trimmed to shape. This gives it some stability and also hides the book cover. Useing pinflair glue I then stuck on some eyes and a nose out of buttons. Simplze! told you it was.

Hope you all enjoyed and I would love to see any Harrys that you make. You may be pleased to hear that Harrys mate has gone to a very good home at Suzicrafts in Stockton upon Tees.

Good Night
and
Happy Crafting
Kayx
